                      Picture
Please stop by one of our Prevention Resource Centers and visit our fully stocked Literature  Clearinghouse. We disseminate literature on topics such as alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, mental health, sexual issues, and spanish literature. Our literature is available free of charge in limited quantities. In addition to literature such as pamphlets or activity books, we also have stickers, bookmarks and posters.

PRC1 collects data for an ongoing Needs Assessment. We conduct surveys and share that information with others as requested. The PRC also houses a Video Lending Library with DVD's/VHS available for loan for up to 2 weeks.  If you are unable to stop by the PRC, we will be glad to send you a catalog of our most popular literature and DVDs/VHS or you may download the catalogs by choosing the other link on the Resources tab.

                                                                PARENTS...

                      Picture
Have you ever wondered if your kids are listening to anything you say?
Studies show that Parents have more influence over their child than friends, music, TV, the Internet and celebrities.
Kids who learn a lot about the risks of drugs (this includes tobacco and alcohol) from their parents are up to 50% less likely to use than those who do not.

Help your teen stay safe and make healthy choices by:

Being directly involved in your child’s everyday world

Making it clear that you do not want him or her drinking or using drugs

                      Setting limits

For more information on Parenting, please contact the Prevention Resource Center. We have an excellant assortment of Parenting literature available free of charge!
